Membership in the New Jersey Legislative Squadron is honorary. Members receive certain privileges as a result of their association with New Jersey Wing Civil Air Patrol. They are as follows:
- Officer Rank of Major
- Official CAP pocket device with the member's name and rank to be worn with civilian business attire.
- Membership Certificate
- Ability to fly in CAP corporate aircraft
- Ability to attend CAP functions and Operations exercises. CD related events by consent of NJW Command Staff CC and NJW Legislative Squadron Commander.
