Command Team Goals


  1. To establish an atmosphere which will be conducive to meet our mission obligations through cooperation and teamwork amongst all members on all levels of New Jersey Wing.
  2. To develop comprehensive mentods to recruit, retain and develop senior and cadet members.
  3. To increase the value of CAP membership by establishing increased leadership opportunities.
  4. To obtain funding for equipment which will enhance our emergency services capabilities.
  5. To develop a public awareness campaign utilizing professional quality media advertisements, and public appearances to educate the military, general public, corporations and educational institutions of the services provided by CAP, as well as the Cadet Program which provides an alternative to drugs and gangs.
  6. To seek funding cources to assist cadets who could not ordinarily afford to join CAP or partake in activities such as encampments and IACE.
  7. To work with State Universities and Colleges to increase the number of scholarships available to CAP cadets.
  8. To establish a strategic plan in order to place the Wing in a postion to meet the challenges of emerging technologies.
  9. To create and expand the Wing's partnership alliances with affiliated organizations and corporations.
  10. To create task forces which will plan and implement strategies to achieve the above stated goals.
