I trust that the Doolies have looked forward to this week with anticipation and enthusiasm. While you parents might be a little uneasy about sending your son or daughter off for a week I assure you that your cadet will be under the leadership of young men and women who have worked together as a team since February. Never before have we had such a thoroughly trained, more motivated, totally HOOAH staff as this year. You will find them attentive to your cadets needs, concerned and all knowing. Although Doolies might find Encampment a bit disorienting and even confusing at first, they will soon call their barracks home. They have a fun filled week of tours, classes, M-16 familiarization, orientation flights, HUMVEE rides, the Leadership Reaction Course and the confidence and obstacle courses to look forward to.
