Important Dates & Transportation Information The encampment is scheduled for 8-11 AUG. Participants are expected to report to your transportation meeting site in their BDU uniform at the specified time on August 8. We are staggering arrival times to avoid processing delays. After all applications are received, you will be notified of what time and where to report on Saturday, August 6.
Your child must have their CAP card and the adults will need a photo ID to get on base to drop your child off. If you encounter any difficulties at the gates, you can call (856)333-3713.
The graduation ceremony will be held at McGuire Base Theater on Sunday, August 14th a 2:00 in the afternoon (1400). We will have a pass and review ceremony outside (weather permitting) before the graduation ceremony. Please plan to arrive early to get a parking spot.

Base 6. After you enter the gate go to the first light and make a left
7. The Base Theater will be on your right
This is the 24 hour gate. Please do not enter any of
the gates onto Ft Dix unless you are very familiar of
where you are going. The Bases have their own police
forces and go by military rules. Please obey ALL speed
limits at all times and remember that we are guests on
the base. Contacting Participants During Encampment Cadets will not be permitted to call home during encampment unless there is an emergency. If something arises and you need to contact a encampment participant during encampment emergency communications can be directed to the Encampment Command Post. This number will be distributed to the local unit commanders once we arrive at the base. If you have news to relay to your son or daughter please use the Command Post phone number so we can ensure that Chaplain or other services are available if necessary.
