"Ranger Day" started with a early morning PT session and breakfast.
After chow the cadets headed out to the obstacle course for a day of
teamwork, fun and tactical training. In the morning the cadets completed
the obstacle course, helping the others in their flight and motivating
each other. After getting muddy and dirty on the course they had MREs
for lunch. On the way to the Leadership Reaction Course the cadets
practiced tactical maneuvers and had some fun planning ambushes on the
other flights. At the LRC the flights attempted to solve problems that
they were given and learned to work better as a team. Before starting
out on a road march the cadets had a class taught my Lt Tedesco on
camouflage and applied face paint. The encampment marched back to the
barracks and finished this great day with a dinner of MREs and a much
