CAP Regulations and Guides pertaining to Aerospace Education

There are three documents that describe CAP's AE mission:

• CAPR 280-2 - CAP Education Mission (PDF file).
• CAPP 15 - the Aerospace Officer's Handbook. It describes the specific mechanics of all three AE programs (cadet, senior, and external) and includes instructions on how to request, administer, and submit results for the AEPSM (Chuck Yeager) exam. Watch for a new version at the end of June!
• CAPP 215 - the Aerospace Officers Specialty Track Study Guide.

The following regulations are strongly recommended for AE Officers:

• CAPR 50-4 Test Administration and Security
• CAPR 52-16 CAP Cadet Training Program
• CAPR 50-17 CAP Senior Member Training Program
• CAPP-14 Staff Duty Analysis Guide (AE portion)

Forms needed for AE Officers:

• CAP Form 8 Requisition for Publications and Blank Forms
• CAP Form 13 CAP AE Membership Application and AEM Recruiting Brochure Updated Feb 05
• CAP Form 23 Civil Air Patrol General Purpose Answer Sheet
• CAP Forms 124, and 126 relate to the Senior Member "Yeager" AE Examination Program)
