BDU
- Embroidered Senior Member Officer Grade
Insignia and CAP strip improperly placed on collar. (fig. 5-2)
Black
Nameplate
- Wear on the white aviator shirt is no
longer authorized.
Ribbons
- Military Ribbons on the white aviator
shirt are not authorized.
- No ribbons on the AF blue service coat.
(CAPM 39-1 states 'all or some', there is no 'none' option).
- Badges and/or devices worn above the
notch of the collar of the AF blue service coat. (fig. 4-1)
Ties
- Regimental tie is not authorized when the white aviator
shirt is worn with gray nameplate and gray epaulets.
- CAP Maroon tie is no longer authorized
