Counter Drug Operations

New Jersey Wing CAP assists federal and state agencies in combating the flow of drugs into and through the United States.  Details of this program are "For Official Use Only" and cannot be divulged here.

The criteria for a CAP member to participate in the operational counter drug program are:

• Must be a CAP member in good standing for at least two years
• Must be qualified as a SAR/DR mission aircrew member, Comm Unit Leader, Air Ops Chief and/or Mission Coordinator/IC
• Must be specially screened by the Federal Bureau of Investigation

Applications must be completed on CAPF-83 (Oct 01 v1.0) and must be submitted with a copy of your current CAPF-101 (not CAPF-101T) through your unit and group headquarters.   Direct applications will not be accepted.
